HEALTH AND OTHER BENEFIT PLANS

Delta affiliates are eligible for health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans. All programs provide a variety of co-insurance options and a range of deductibles.

Health Insurance

Health insurance benefits, offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield, will provide you and your family with coverage for:

• Pre-existing conditions
• Preventative care
• Regular doctor’s visits
• Emergency care
• Prescription drugs

Dental Insurance

Guardian Life’s dental benefit plan covers preventative and orthodontic care, as well as major dental surgery.

Vision Plan

The vision plan offered through VSP provides eye care coverage for affiliates and their dependants which includes eye exams, glasses and contact lenses.

Disability, Life and Accidental Death Insurance

Disability insurance, made available through Guardian Life, provides income replacement in the event of an inability to work due to an extended illness. Short term disability insurance provides weekly benefits for a maximum of 90 days and long term disability insurance provides monthly benefits if you are still unable to work after 90 days. Guardian Life also offers Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment plans for affiliates, their spouse and dependent children.
